Welcome to The Urantia Board!
The idea here is to provide a civil atmosphere for
our Father's children to interact, and exchange ideas. An
atmosphere that different beliefs, opinions, and ideas can express
themselves. For, while this is a place
to express your spiritual and philosophical beliefs, it is also a
place to pursue other interests as well. The Urantia Board, with its
broad spectrum of forums, is a wonderful tool with the potential for
encouraging vigorous, respectful, and tolerant interactions. Our
world is so diverse! Please join us in making this a community that
reflects that diversity. As in a physical community, spirituality
and personal interests are
as diverse as the people that call the community home. So it is with
our community. We want everyone to feel at home here. With
the Golden Rule as a guide, we seek to provide a civil atmosphere
for Father's children to interact, and exchange ideas,
in an atmosphere where different beliefs, opinions, and ideas can be
expressed. As our name implies, one of the inspirations for this
community was The Urantia Book. While the UB, as it is sometimes
called, does not seek to create yet another religion, it does seek
to show our spiritually common roots.
This community declares that
we are all children of GOD,
and there is but one GOD, Our FATHER.
Perhaps one
day we can act and treat each other accordingly

COMMUNITY GUIDELINES
In treating The Urantia Board as a community,
the forums are considered individual buildings or rooms as in a
physical community. Therefore, each forum may have it's own
guidelines. Any rules or guidelines a particular forum might have
will be listed in the forum "Welcome Message".
(Moderators are responsible for the management
and guidelines in their forums)
Registration
is kept simple. We do require folks to register with a valid e-mail
address and DOB.
You can load up to 100x100 Avatars and Profile
Pictures.
Members are required to log in to post in most
community forums.
Passwords for Private Forums are available to
community members, requesting membership in a particular forum.
We also have a few forums in the community
that are open for posting to the general public.
